Supporting Women Scholarships

Supporting Women Scholarships is an initiative of Skills Queensland which awards scholarships to women who want to pursue a career in non-traditional fields and skills shortage areas including:

• Agricultural science
• Architecture
• Building services
• Engineering
• Information technology
• Geological science

The scholarship is in the form of financial assistance valued at $5,000 per year for the length of the approved course, up to a maximum of $20,000.

Applications close on 12 October 2012 available for February/March 2013 intake.
