All about Australian Women
The Château may be big, and the dream may be also, but it’s the small things along the way that are important not to overlook. These small things are what keep us connected as a family.
At home together, I feel so grateful spending time with my family. It’s about enjoying the small moments together, sharing meals around the table, walking with my daughter each day or jumping in the car next to my son on his way to pick up his girlfriend. I’m no longer fearful to sit behind my husband on his motorbike, content to spend time with someone I love.
Meet the residents
Sometimes, me being here onsite overshadows the ‘behind the scenes’ of how my family are a part of this adventure. We are a team of four, and all have a significant part in this, even though it may not seem the case. We all try to help with decisions – even if a small detail seems tedious and minute. It is a journey which our whole family is involved in and dedicated to.

Escape into the attic
I listen to meditation music for about twenty minutes, and try to switch off and rest my thoughts. The very, very last thing I do is think of how fortunate I am.

I too am in the middle of a restoration but in Italy and not with the immense grandeur of the chateau. It is still a work of love, a challenge and an adventure!
